89 c4 already beefed up but looking for options
So I'm a big chevy guy because of my dad. I have a 3rd gen camaro and my dad has had a few 2nd gens. I was looking for another to add to my collection and came across an 89 vette that I ended up buying and for the moment it has my full attention. The previous owner hired TPIS to put in a zz4 crate with a p600b procharger and intercooler in the early 90s. It has a tpi intake with larger runners. Has headers and an exhaust tone that is absolutely perfect! I bought the car with the intentions of leaving it alone. Ha! I just got done with a paint correction and ceramic coating that I am really excited about and looking at the cars performance. The car is certainly fast but I'm not sure how fast yet. I don't know what boost or what hp it has. I was wondering about slapping a miniram on it but I want to know exactly what to expect. I have the moates tuning stuff but I haven't played with it on the vette. Should my first step be to dyno it and see where I am at? Is the miniram an absolute must because it is clearly better than the tpi?

Well if you don't dyno it first or take it down the drag strip a few times before you do anything how will you know if what you do improves performance or not?

x3 spend some time with it, you may find you like the torque curve just the way it is. Chasing a dyno $ is expensive and doesnt always get you a car you like.

Thanks for the support guys! Proud to be a part of the family. I got a few pics on my phone and will try and upload them now.
Tomorrow is an open track day at the local drag strip and I will tale the car if work permits.
I have a ceramic coating curing so no fancy photos at a cool destination. Also, had to include my first car, the 91 rs.

I just wanted to add that I got into car detailing because ceramic coatings seem so cool and once I stripped the car of wax and othet protectants that I noticed the car was in need of some help. The hood looked like a 4 year old climbed on it and scratched it up with crayons. I left one side unbuffed on the hood so anybody who visited in that time could see the massive difference. I'm pretty happy of the results as a first timer.
