Looks nice. Is that a carbon fiber hood that lifts off?

Guys, it's a 24hr Lemons car. I doubt the drivetrain is heavily modified. However, the cage and stripping work seem good, and I'd be interested to know how much a C4 at this level of prep weighs (without ballast, if the rules require a minimum weight).

Looks like an early car with "late" wheels on it. Might want to check the offset. Otherwise, it looks sweet!

The hood is a stock hood, but I did remove the mounts and supports to lighten it up. Making it a pin on just makes it easier to work on the thing. My Dad got out the fiberglass and made plugs for all the parking lights and running lights on the car, I turned the driving lights into brake ducts.
The engine is nothing special but it looks cool if you ask me!
Crossfire 350, desmogged, we also removed the stock mufflers and the cat. so MAYBE we gained another 10 ponies??
Doug Nash 4+3
Race clutch from Zoom.
Hawk Brake pads, braided brake hoses from russell, Castrol SRF fluid.
Lexan windshield from five star.
Road race seat from Kirkey.
six point roll cage with a SPA fire system.
C5 Corvette wheels Falken Azenis tires all the way around.
Nothing special, but it looks great and I'm sure its gonna be a ton of fun!

Oh yeah; power wash the engine, then spray the intake w/"Eagle 1 etching mag wheel cleaner" (or any aluminum brightener) and it will make that engine look pretty fantastic.

Someone was paying attention!! The car will be raced in Lemons the WRL and maybe the SCCA here and there. The scales will come out next weekend so we can see just how well we did with the car. Getting the car as light as we can is one of the only things we are allowed to do to make it faster, so we went all out to strip it down to the bone. Last time we weighed the car it was 2650.

Just curious. What exhaust configuration are you running after removing the cat and mufflers?
