Well, vic89 and 65Z01 were right on the money...it didn't fit worth crap. The width was fine....the tips stuck out 2" past the bumper. So with the help of super dad ( yes I know I'm a big boy, but there are some things that dad can still do better :yesnod: ) Anyway he cut 2" off of the 3.5" Y pipe welded it back together....perfect. Everything is in the stock location using the stock mounting points. It certainly amplified the cam!! I'll get some pics up tomorrow and some sound clips...although I have no method of hosting the videos.
So now it appears TPIS scored a hat trick with their cat backs! Three crap fits. I've had success with other TPIS products, but I would expect more precision from them! :U And I'm thinking of a cat back system in spring, and TPIS just dropped to the middle of the pack!

After driving it last night I feel that all the trouble of making it fit was worth it. At idle it rattles the windows in my house while the car is sitting in the driveway. Going down the street it turns many more heads. I haven't hit the highway yet, but i imagine at 70 or so in 6th that it's gonna rattle my eyes out. I knew it was gonna be loud and since the car isn't my daily driver I figured it should sound as good as it runs.
65Z01-cats have been fixed ;) no emissions here. I don't drive the car everyday so my butt dyno is not very sensitive :D
FlyboyZR1- My exhaust setup is 3" all the way to the rear y where it goes to 3.5" for 8 " then splits to 3". Might be overkill on a stock 350 but it's a proven system and it will work nicely with my 421 I'm putting together.
