ET times with unported D-ports
What are some ET times of non ported D-port evtte heads. I am debating on if I need to change to larger valves or not.
If the info is in your sig thats plenty!

Re: ET times with unported D-ports (ld85)
with my 52mm TB, Miniram, ZZ9, and Stock D-ports I ran a 13.8@101(I think the mph is correct)
With just changing to the CNC D-port Heads I got from 89vette on the forum I ran a 12.8@109

 What elevation are you at? 13.8 with MR and cam? My equivs to sea level were 13.9 stock.

You can see my latest triumph in my sig; Vic'89 is running high 12s in this weather with stock D-ports.
The stock D-port is reputed to flow to about 350hp while the worked version flows to over 400hp.
If you have a set of D-ports and are pocket porting them, by all means go to bigger and better valves to enhance flow cfm and velocity.

So you can install 2.0 & 1.6 valves without machining,,,, yes?
And you can install larger valves on the intake side with some machine work?
Is this correct?

I ran a 13.5 @ 104 with unported D ports. The mods I had were 52mm TB, Ported plenum, ASM runners, ported base and a Crane Compucam. I thought that was pretty good. Stock I ran 14.2 @ 98 on the same track. I never went back. I have no idea what my car would run now.
