Default Another C68 air conditioner issue...

Been lurking and learning from this site for since March,,,have learned alot about taking care of and fixing my new to me Vette.. Thank you !! Now for my problem..
Bought this car in April .. 96 Collector edition LT1, 69k on the clock.. had a bunch of usual C4 issues ,,none serious ,,that i read about here and fixed for minimal $$.. One of those issues was the AC blowing out of defroster and heater only... With info i found on here ,,i removed programmer and removed green connector and bypassed completely.. Works great ,,air comes out front vents or wherever i command it to. The issue is ,,when i have ac blowing out the vents ,, it will be blowing cold and then it will blow warm for about 10 seconds ,,and then go back to blowing cold for 30 seconds ,and then warm for 10,,etc,,etc..this cycle just keeps going. even if i turn recirc on.
The other issue is whenever i turn car on ,,it always goes to 75 degrees and "0" fan speed ... I can put it in auto temp and the fan stays at "0".. i have to set fan speed and temp manually.. Is that an issue with control head or programmer ? I have removed the control head , disassembled and cleaned board and buttons... All buttons work as as should. , Anyone have these issues before .. FSM isn't much help in this case .

Thanks,

I suspect that your FSM wont be of much help as you bypassed the system. You are probably on your own here.

My advice is to put you system back to stock configuration. Since you removed significant pieces and bypassed others, it is a reasonable assumption that your unit us getting false readings from un intended inputs.

Go back to your base like (buy a working unit and pop it in) and I bet most of your issues will go away. Whatever left over will be easy to diagnose from the FSM.

I appreciate the response, but I didn't remove anything but the nipples that are known to collapse and not allow vacuum to get thru...I only hooked the vac lines up directly in the programmer. This is a known fix tfor the air only coming out heater and defrost.
The coming on at 75 deg and auto fan not working was happening before . And I don't know if the going warm to cold was happening because air was only coming out the heater and defrost. It only became noticeable to me once I got the air coming out the correct vents
