Anyone done aftermarket gauges in a 92-93? Please post pictures and can you tell me the details of how? Especially the wiring.
THANKS!

I have not had to to do gauges but if I did this is what I would do.

OP - WHY?

I can't think of a valid reason to even consider such an option. You lose all of the 'functionality' of the cars electronics. A heavily modified car might maybe be considered a 'valid' reason but for a driver I can't image even considering it.

I would have to agree with WVZR1 on his view, But if the goal is addressing Problems with the one in the Car you can get a rebuilt for around $500.00 or have Yours Rebuilt depending on it's problems from $200. to $350. The Dash pointed out in a Previous response is just Shy of $1000.00 and is it Plug & Play? or is there extra Wiring or Sensor Changes?

Well my reasons are serveral. First and formost I am replacing the engine with an LS based motor. Second I have never liked the stock display. The display in the car is very dim. Rather then spend a bunch of money to have it serviced (which I don’t like it anyway). I thought if it had been done, someone here would have done it.

The LS answers nearly all of the questions a person could have for maybe leaving things 'as is' or to repair or consider options. I've never seen the linked packages installed in a C4. I'd certainly like a discussion with someone who's been there before making that particular purchase.
