ABS not working no Power to brake fuse
hello all I’ve been tracking down what seems to be a electrical bug with my ABS unit. I Have a service ABS light that is consistently on all the time. From what I read on SuperChevy.com the first thing to check are the “Brake and Guages” fuses for power. Gauge fuse has power but the Brake fuse does not. Any advice as to why the fuse would not have power I believe it’s suppose to be hot at all times? Also where should I start checking next? I have a feeling I’m going to be under the dash again 😩 it’s a 91 base Coupe. Thanks if anyone can help me out on this.

Shouldn’t be anything under the dash. Power feed is off a fusible link at the junction right behind the battery.

Removed the battery and have been checking the conditions of the fusible links. Haven’t put a multimeter on any of the wires yet but saw one fusible link with bare wire exposed. This is the only one that looks like this. Also it’s a heavier wire then the others.

Won't help now that you've pulled the pump, but may help the next guy. Mine was on constant in my 86 and turned out to be one of the relays on top of the pump.
