Belt length
I am removing the EGR pump from my 1985 Corvette. I think that length of the serpentine belt is 84 inches, with the air pump removed. Can any verify that for me.

I think you mean the AIR pump, and I can't confirm or deny 84".....but if you cut your old belt (it'll be useless now anyway)wrap the new route w/o the AIR pump, over lap the ends, pull tension to load the tensioner, then mark the belt at the overlap. Remove and measure. There is your new belt length.

It’s 85” on my 84 Corvette but I thought that you need a pump delete kit for an 85 corvette and if that’s the case then the original belt can be reused.
