For that matter, since the "Kart" is so much lighter, TQ-to-weight goes way up anyway. Seems like the ONLY REAL choice is something high-revving. HSR or MR. Why go after more torque is the whole thing is as light as the back end of a p/u truck!

This is why I hesitated to spend time finding links and explaining how to get the most out of an SLP combo. (Kinda knew it was a waste of time. Hence the flavor of my OP here).

Is ANY setup/gain (short of track racing) worth the discussion of how to get 200, 300, or even 500rpm more on top. Considering how fast good builds rev, why waste time on anything less than 1K chunks?

The intake I plan on getting is the edelbrock pro Flo xt intake. I think it looks great and it performs good too. I’ll post some pictures on here of what it looks like on someone else’s 1985 l98 corvette.
