Water pump removal 1985 Vette
Any tips on how to remove the rear A/C compressor bracket bolt that's close to the TPS switch?

I checked the FSM, in the ac and the water pump section, nothing there. The bracket diagram didn't help either. Looked at my 85 daily driver and I couldn't see the bolt for everything in the way. Can you get a picture? Sorry couldn't be more helpful.

is this for the bolt out the rearward side?
the way to do it is by loising it and the removing the hidden bolt from the underside.
with the hidden/secret bolt (google corvette c4 hidden bolt) removed you will be able to pull the compressor forward while completing the removal of that rearward bolt.
ps, dont u dare use too small a torx on the hidden bolt. i think its a t45 but you need to verify. the one size lower (ex, if the t45 is the size, then a t40 may trick you thinking it will fit. but it WILL STRIP IT OUT then you arr effed.
