This is great thank you. So looking up mu wheel and the 1990 wheel. The difference in the offset is 24 mm. So then in order for the wheel to be in the same position as the stock wheel I need to move the 1990 wheel out 24 mm or 0.94 inches, correct?

I am always amazed at the great information you people have given to me.

Thank you

I will not see the car until I come home from vacation 30 March. I will look for cracks. But, frankly this is one Corvette that will not see 150 mph. 100 maybe. I was on Amazon and saw hubcentric spacers. Are they a good or bad brand.

Thank you

According to all info I've ever seen, the 16x9.5 wheel from 1985 had 38mm offset, and all the different 17x9.5 wheels from 88-96 had 56mm offset. So the difference is 18mm, which is the spacer width you'd want if your goal is to replicate factory offset with the later wheels. You certainly can use 24mm (basically 1") if you want them set out a little further toward the outside fender edges - they will fit that way.
