The real WOW is why you disassembled the car without thinking the project through and in advance taking some pics.

In the pic my egr solenoid lines are backwards. On the solenoid in your pic, the little stub that is HIGHER up goes to the egr valve, in my drawing I have it backwards could not erase for some resason.
Good luck and since you are subbing rubber I suggest a tight fit and mabey some rtv on the plastic and a tie wrap on the ends.

5/16th rubber vac line with a bit of contact cement works well as a splicer.

I'll probably be out there tomorrow night working on it (still working on the damned u joints-they're not hard but time consuming). I'll try to remember to take some pics.

Ad usual ..lmao..got the routing done, bought 5/32nd tubing cranking along, get to the hose that connects to the left side back plenum,gone..I see a tiny piece of plastic with it stick up tries to attached the hose and it snapped,no I really don't know where that goes, a/c and cruise, but I am lost..lol..thank God it's not a daily driver..lmao..any help and I don't have a check valve coming off the plenum, bit where oh where can that vacuum line olong the passenger side distributor go?

or one pic close in and a second pic further out from farther out while pointing.
anybody know if the 85 has the vac line going into the can inside the big wiring loom behind the dizzy?i think 85 was only manual hvac so it maybe didnt use that vac line.
if thats the case, you dont have the vac line going into the cab and it shoots over to the cruise control in front of the dizzy.

That line runs in front of the distributor over towards the cruise control?

Is there a three-way rubber connecter on that line? If so, I believe that is supposed to be positioned on the driver side of the distributor, at the base, on top of the intake manifold.
The vacuum source line comes in from the passenger side of the Plenum, and splits at that three-way, sending vacuum into the cab through the wire loom that run behind the distributor and go through the firewall by the heater box. The other split goes to the vacuum source for the cruise control
You should be able to see all of this on the diagrams provided above

If you can take the pic further away we can blow it up still, anyway that is incorrect. That vacume should have a small
check valve connected, then the heater controls which come out from behind the dizzy and a seperate line should go over to a tee for cruise and the ball. As in the pic I posted earlier. I dont think a hard line went to the cruise side, only the heater controls came from the abiss.
Right now you will be stuck on defrost I believe. You will need the 5 dollar check valve to split the heater and cruise lines.
