I am a bit taken back with the reduced mini oil filters that are being currently recommended by the parts stores. I understand that the OEM was a good 5" in length. I ran into this filter that is 7" in length and should fit thread wise. Has anybody tried it? Heard of it? Should add close to a quart of oil to the system over the mini filters. Hopefully will help the engine run longer, run cooler. Thanks..

Is there a difference between the now discontinued PF35 and the PF35 available in the AC Delco Classic Filter line?

I use a Ea extened life oil filter from AMSOIL with their Signature Series oil.
