Default Crank Hub install

Engine is not at top dead center would this be the correct way to install the Hub to then set it at top dead center?

Putting Hub on is this correct?

The hub isn't keyed. The front half on the engine is supposed to be neutral balanced , so orientation isn't important.
There is a note: If a vibration is noticed, set #1 to TDC and pointer to 12 o'clock, and reevaluate.

If you look inside the hub. You should see where the key way was originally. I just did this a couple months ago and had the same question
