Working on a client's 1993 LT1. Getting the motor freshened up and, while out, we are going to put a better cam in. Running ZF S6 40 6 speed.. Is the LT4 Hot Cam kit the best route? Don't want it rowdy, looking for good top end gain. I'm a big fan of Stainless Works headers.. Car has Corsa catback on it already. What other header options are out there with good fitment and performance on the LT1? Staying with stock heads..

I'll be tuning the new setup via TunerPro RT..

I have a 93 auto and did a full LT4 Hotcam kit, Stainless Works longtubes, Meziere EWP, and a mail order tune. Picked up over 50 rwhp and 35 rwtq.

I did ZZ9 cam, AFR heads and Stainless Works headers and 3.54 gears. She put out 349 rwhp and runs low 12's at 115.

Just a heads up, melrose seems to have pulled the full blown headers and exhaust setup from their site as of a couple weeks ago and they just have the universal c4 headers listed at the moment.

fitment and little to no customization is what I (and others) are looking for in C4 headers. Does anyone know how their "universal fit" headers are?

They don't have the year specific emissions hookups is what I believe the difference is. Otherwise they all pretty much fit the same.
