Default AFR composite intakes? Can't find 'em...

Anyone know why I can't find these on Summit or Jegs' websites? Did they stop making them already? Or more likely, am I being blind?

Do they make them for LT1? They make heads for LT1 why not intake (instead of the lousy fitting edelbroc k air gap lt4 intake)

Why just blow thru single plan carb style?

To be honest, my customers experience with them has been not good. AFR has replaced the upper spider 3x and the lower valley plate 4x for one guy..... He finally said screw it and put a Holley 300-110 on his engine (383 SBC in a low 10 sec 73 Nova)..... Another oval track guy that I built an engine for has replaced his 2x so far..... these intakes seem to work fine for a while then start leaking like SOB after they get some heat cycles.

The power is OK but not better than any other good 23* SBC single plane like the 300-110, 2925 or HV1000..... I personally won't ever use another one.

That's what I've seen too. Bummer.

I was interested in it for the weight. I hear what rklessdriver is saying...that's probably why it's off the market....but man, it looks so good! O-ringed, divorced from the coolant, light, and it DID make more power than an aluminum intake in a couple tests I found.
