Default My antennae is stuck - now radio won't work.

Does the antennae have to be working for the radio to turn on? 1986 vert Bose system.

Check the fuse to the radio.

It was the fuse but I'm not sure whether the antenna is blowing it or the amp I just re-installed in the back. Blows the fuse everytime.

Just to follow up it turned out to be a shorted Bose amp in the back. My radio is otherwise OK
