Parts required to update rear bumper....
...title says it. I think I want to update to take on the 1990 ZR1 look while at the same time try not to be a poser. :jester I don't know why, I suddently want the 91-96 rear end. Never thought that I would.
What do I need...
1. Bumper
2. Black moldings (These exist still?)
3. 4 Taillights
4. Krylon Yellow Spray Paint

i got the conversion kit from ecklers, the bumper is very nice and fit perfectly, the body shop said it was the best they had worked with, the moldings are still avail at the chevy dealer or you can get them from ecklers, the taillights are the same as any 91-96 either get them used or from chevy, they arent cheap so your best bet is to find them used.....and yes some krylon or rustolium just in case :D

Krylon Yellow Spray Paint
Would that be the same yellow as the double line? Where is my gun?
It also comes with rust prevention

You will also need on a 91-96 rear bumper non ZR-1.
1. Third Brake Light.
2. Both backup lights.
3. Brackets for the plate.

Re: Parts required to update rear bumper.... (corvette0096)
if you do a true 91+ gm bumper they are made for wide moldings. i have no idea if there's any way around this. the aftermarket offers fiberglass 91+ bumpers with the narrow molding ingtergrated but fiberglass rear bumpers aren't the easiest things to make look perfect. the one i used was off a good 1/4" on the side moldings and required me fiberglassing it in, sanding, glassing, sanding till i had a perfect fit. there's a guy who lives over our way who has a complete 91+ oem conversion he wanted $900 for, like moldings, F&R bumpers, lights etc. give it some thought & see what you want to do with your moldings.

Get the one that's got the small spoiler and C5 oval lamps.
I want to see what one looks like installed on the car. :D

Id do the rims first. You know we have the market cornered on ugly rims.
Then youll be able to go to C5 or J55 brakes.
