The damn GoPro was dead, so I didnt get a driving clip, but the car seems to be running strong.

I dropped the shift light 400rpm (6,000) and backed the timing down 3° just to make sure everything was kosher on the test drive and the car still ate a hellcat charger from a stoplight and a 60 roll.

The new cam pulls less vacuum at idle and has a little bit of surge around 1500rpm, but otherwise she's a screamer.

Here's a little YouTube clip of the idle for Will... I'll get a driving clip tomorrow hopefully.

I have a Dart Block in my car. I never knew they make .030 taller lifters (linked). No dog bones, and shorter pushrods, as suggested.

You might consider that as another option..

Sounds country as hell, I wanna hear it at 6500!

You made adjustment to the tune already or is this a carb'd car?

The car is a blow-through carb, procharged car with a dry shot.

I think it sounds like it needs another 1/4 turn of lifter pre-load to me.
