Default The Texas Mile - October
Is anyone on here planning on going to the Texas Mile in Victoria this weekend? I'll be running old crispy, and I saw several other C4's on the participant list. It would be cool to put some names to faces if possible.

shes a screamer. We will see how she runs this weekend - I'm afraid cylinder 3 is hurt from an exhaust valve issue - but its too late to do anything about it now.

I'll be sure to post some pics and vids of the mile for you guys

After a long 6hr drive from DFW, we made it to the mile with no drama. The old 7.3L F350 makes pulling any trailer a breeze. Unloaded, tech'd the car, got my stickers to run, just waiting on the sun to come up so I can run my licensing pass (145-160mph).

I was going to go, but to watch my friends ZL1 Camaro. He ran last year over 200mph. I don't remember the exact mph, but it was hauling A**! I have way too much going on here the year for me to go this year. Good luck!

Crispy had to run 140-165 for the license run, so I ran it hard to the 1/2mi with no traction, then coasted to the mile.

Waiting on daylight to make a full pull... wish me luck!

There is one ran just north of here at Kokomo, In. I know its still a long drive for you,. perhaps they have something near Chicago land.

The old cast piston, stock ring gap, cast crank small block just keeps on truckin.

Went through the mile on the 6800rpm rev limiter at 188.0 this afternoon. Still turned 129 in the 1/4 spinning, and 158 in the 1/2.
