96 Vette 2BAR MAP in SD mode
Has anyone been able to run a 2BAR MAP with the ECM in SD mode for a 96 vette (ODBII)? Attempting to tune the idle but can't get the trims to kick, in closed-loop mode. In MAF mode the trims work. I assume the ECM is ignoring the 2BAR MAP.
I have the injector constant @ 50% of the injector size. and I halved the VE MAP table up to 55kpa. The car runs an idle of 12.5 AFR with no trimming in closed loop.
It appears there is some sort of threshold before the trims kick in. I just can't figure it out. Any thoughts? The 2BAR MAP idles @ ~0.6v vs the 1BAR idles @ 1.2V....
How do I tune BLM cell 16 the "Fuel Trim Cell" reserved for idle?
Wideband is loggin 12.5...
Under SWITCHES: Calibration Options: you need to enable "speed Density Mode
"How do I tune BLM cell 16 the "Fuel Trim Cell" reserved for idle?"
Once `you are in SD Mode you will use your VE table to adjust this cell. Just log where your Idle Map and RPM values are and adjust the VE in that region
Also, Under Fuel Tables - Look for " BLM Cell MAP Boundaries" Check to see if your MAP values are relevant since you went to 2 Bar.
May also want to check your values in " BLM Cell RPM Boundaries" to see if they will be adequate to meet your driving ranges
Good starting values for the BLM Boundary Tables would be as shown:

Curious: Are you seeing short term & long term trims at idle or at 750RPM with the 2BAR MAP? Or are you honed in on the VE table?
Trying to determine if I am chasing my tail.
Yes, have also toyed with the
BLM Cell RPM Boundaries / I have tried to cut them in 1/2 and other ranges. I am able to affect the AFR - BUT I just don't see the ECM doing any trims at idle. I am only able to get the trims to fire if I do a hack with a potentiometer and get to 32kpa..
Boundary RPM
Low 1200
Mid 1700
High 2200
BLM Cell MAP Boundaries
Boundary MAP (Kpa)
Low 37
Mid 55
High 70
I am exactly at this spot as described in this thread:

Just trying to determine what "DONE" looks like...
Try decreasing this value to 5 Kpa
