The C5 calipers are stiffer than the GS calipers and carry larger pads. The Z06 calipers are nothing more than C5 calipers that are painted red.

:withstupid:
The Z06 calipers are a nice pretty red and the standard C-5s are grey.
The C-5 rotors are much thicker and better ventilated than the GS/ZR-1 pieces. The extra mass makes a big difference.
I got GM DuraStop drilled and slotted rotors ($115 ea from Jeff Kopp) and I couldn't be happier with them. The car really stops now.

C5/Z06 are bigger and better, thats it. You can buy some caliper paint to paint the regular C5 Brake calipers.

Newbie C4 question...
Do the C5 Rotors/Calipers/Pads bolt right up?
Do the C5 Rotors/Calipers/Pads bolt right up?
The difference?
40% more pad surface, thicker rotors for more heat dispersion, and larger pistons on the C5. Superior system.
