Default 1992 Icm problems

I noticed my Icm was coming apart so I figured I’d replace it. I bought a new one from corvette central and I put it on it would start then die. I did mess up the old one trying to pry it off of the bracket the whole back came off but it’s somewhat intact I put the old one on there it starts right up but now when it gets warm it acts like it wants to die when I give it throttle. I have a new gm one coming in a few days. The one from corvette central it’s acdelco any ideas why it doesn’t work? And they don’t do returns so I’m 120$ in the hole

Is the part number
GM GENUINE D1971A
From my experience parts my look the same but the Ohms are different
(NAPA parts from experience)
Did you use the paste on the back of the part before mounting it?
I forgot what it's called

They may NOT do returns BUT they certainly should do/have WARRANTY policy. Yours doesn't run with theirs you say. What were you sold by part #? You mentioned ACD. A new GM isn't necessarily a solution. I'd hold and maybe resolve the situation with Corvette Central before just opening the GM packaging you ordered. Ordered from a 'local' dealer you have a relationship with?

**** Paid Corvette Central w/Credit Card? Dispute the charge expressing 'WARRANTY"!

the part number is 19352932. And they said it doesn’t have a warranty but the manufacturer may so I’ve been in contact with them but still no luck. And I ordered the gm one from autozone and I know for sure they stand by there return/replacement policy
