Default Surging gas pedal

Hello, I need a needle help, I have a 94 Corvette. When the car is cold, the idle surges, but the gas pedal is going up and down fast by itself until it gets up to temperature, almost like is trying to keep itself from stalling. I have no idea what it could be. I’m assuming maybe the cruise control. Any help would be appreciated. This is my first vette not sure if this is normal.

In my 96 the only time I have felt the gas pedal move on its own (except cruise) was when the ASR was activated. Try turning off the ASR the next time you start it up. Remember, the ASR turns back on each time you turn off the car. You have to turn it off each time you start up. Dan
PS: I believe your panel will light up ASR OFF when you have turned it off.
PS #2: If this fixes it you have a problem with the ASR. Good luck finding a mechanic that would even know where to start to repair it.

Thank you. today before I started the car I unclipped the cruise control. The car started right up and idel perfect. So I was going to leave the clip unplugged. I’m not sure if anything else is going to be affected. But I took it for a ride and everything felt great. No lights came on the dash. Hopefully it stays like that. Thank you
