Default Anyone done a 8 stack on a C4

Just sitting here remembering the near old days when either Weber IDFs or Ingeles throttle bodies was the bomb and still is for hot rods.. I am aware that my 93 LT1 has the reverse flow heads, and an optispark etc etc, but has anyone done one of the forementioned inductions on a LT1 engine?. Will conventional SBC intakes fit on the LT block? I know that I would have to either block off the distributor hole, or go to the appropriate unit. Fuel pressure may also have to be addressed.....I think it would be a real gas ( yes I am old) to show up at a show or club meet with two obvious hood bulges, and terrific sound from the engine .
So, any of you younger wizards have any ideas or direct experience?
Don't get old, its all a lie...

The intake has a different bolt pattern. SBC intake could be modified to work. LT1 intakes are modified to fit SBCs.

Yes, I have been reading in some of the other chevy forums that mention what you are saying. seems one of those hurdles that can be taken and solved. Thanks for the additional confirmation. Some have said that there are potential sources of already modified intakes, but, not easily found. I will contact several of the shops that do the 8 stack inductions for the Hot Rod guys, and ask them these same questions.

Reach out to Hogan in Australia. They might have an option.

Not much of a response out there from the potential vendors...everything is either much earlier SBC or Fords, or, the newer LSx variety. So I am going to sideline this idea for now......there might be a Big Block in the future since those kits are available. This of course presents a lot of different problems like all of the expected CPU issues......Till then I think I have a few more years left in me... thanks folks for your inputs.
Sadly, it looks like I am pretty much stuck using an LS engine mated to my existing 4L60 transmission as I have not been successful in finding anyone even close to me who can do whatever adaption/plate would be required in order to mate the one supplied by Speedmaster https://www.speedmaster79.com/shop?k...s=1-135-003-02. They do make system for the LS series engines so I guess a LS swap is coming this winter.
Thanks, All
