So I was running my 86 after putting some new injectors on it when i noticed that the vacuum hose for the pcv valve looked flat. Is this normal? do I need a thicker vacuum hose? I’m a bit worried it might not be performing it’s duty too well but i’m not sure since i’m still new to cars. Any input would be greatly appreciated

They are cheap to replace and should not collapse under vacuum, unless oil soaked or incorrect material. See link to new pcv vacuum hose below from corvette central only $8:20, just replace it and enjoy your corvette.
Cheers Gerard. 🙂👍

most of the flat hose problems I have encountered is when a moulded hose was replace with just regular hose and the bend was too sharp. I agree with gerardvg that the hoses are inexpensive and even if it has enough volume it seems to bug you so order yourself a new one.
