'93 Fog light issues
'93 Fog light issues: Hi, have any of you had any issues with your fog light issues not turning on? Here's what's happening. When I turn the curtesy lights one, they all turn on. Afterwards, when I turn on my fog lamps, the indicator light in the dash glows green, the fog lights flicker once for less than a second then shut off. I have swapped the fog light relays out under the passenger's side dash, they do the same thing. All the fuses are fine. I'm thinking this is likely a ground issue. The bulbs are new LED lights. I am about to check for power and ground at the relay, and then at the fog light wire loop. I am considering adding a ground strap bar, and wiring that to battery ground or chassis ground. Have any of you experienced this? Are there any tried and true recommendations for this? Thanks! S. Carter was nice enough to reply (below)... He thought there might be issues with the LED bulbs. More information, the problem was the same with the old halogen bulbs, so I thought I just replace them with LED bulbs anyway. Most other bulbs in the car were changed over to LED bulbs. All are running correctly, I honestly don't think it's the bulbs, but I can test them in the next couple of days as well. Thanks...

Thanks, but I don't think that's it. Most of the other, including headlights are all LED now as well, and all running just fine. Thanks for the reply though! I appreciate the idea. In cars built with CAN bus and what not, you are absolutely right, low current draw of LED Bulbs can set off warning lights, butI think that happened a little further in the future than my 1993. Thanks again.
