84 Auto Distributor

Hey all, hope youve been good, messing with my Distributor and notice the brown connector plugged in also has another brown connector that doesn't seem to plug into anything? The tach filter is plugged into the wire connector that runs under the car, but don't seem to know what this mystery connector is? Anything helps!

Should be 3 connector to distributor

It's a Tach test lead used at factory or someone with test Tach working under hood, goes to nothing normally
