I just e-mailed Made for You Products. Thanks for the address. There pictures show the wires running over the valve covers and not the original routing. Have you seen these looms installed on a LT-1?

Scorp= I know that you are running an L98, but anyone out there using these for a LT1? If so, which set up? What size wires?

I run the over the top version on my L98. Mervz JUST asked this question yesterday, thats why I know they work on the LT1s. :)

I just e-mailed the products for you guys about their looms pictured in this post. They say "I think the 8.5mm wires will fit the LT-1 routing and with just a little tweaking they work fine" There is nothing more frustrating than buying something and it doesn't work. Somebody out there must know if you can use these looms on our LT-1s. Prove it..send pictures.

I have MSD 8.5mm wires on my car and the plastic looms they go through are the same in both variations they sell. They fit no problem at all.

Were the wires bought the right lengths (stock)? And which version did you use?

I can't speak for that as the L98 uses a totally different wire set than the LT1. But... the set I did buy for my L98 fit perfect.

I don't think we're going to get a real answer to this. I like the picture given to us, but I don't know if they built there own wires. I think I'll buy new GM replacements and ream them out a little. :banghead:

I did a little more snopping around and found thunderracing.com. They have looms worth looking at. Just not stock.

Wrestled with this for quite a while.

I used the MadeForYou verticle mounts on mine and mounted them horizontally to the holes where the stock looms bolted up to. I have two per side and had to get longer bolts and some spacers to shim the looms away from the heads. I am running 8.8 mm msd wires with no problems.

The verticle metal brackets would have worked great if they could have been moutned horizontally. GM has some that may work but the looms cost over 100 bucks. :eek:
