Despite the cost ($100+) of the GM service manuals, get one, or both if needed.

When you do something thats not done correctly in the other manuals it'll pay for itself. (Our Haynes manual is written horrible and has a few things that when I went to do them I had to stop and question, when checking my folks 88 GM manual I found it wasnt right).

The Haynes is extremely valuable to keep things from blowing away and to keep from leaving those ugly rings from your beer can on your bench. :yesnod: :yesnod:

Definitly the GM (red book) shop manual, the difference is like night and day. If you can't find one through the forum or friends, then you can also try Helminc.com. When your paying through the nose for "corvette" parts that 90$ manual will pay off on the first part you don't install wrong!

[Vader, Must of been typing when you posted...anyway now I'm just another recommendation for it!

I use the GM shop manual for my 86. I have a 87 GM Preliminary Manual if anyone is interested.
