shake and shimmy issue?

shake and shimmy issue?
When ever I leave for work in the morning I can feel the car shake and feel and see it in the steering wheel and after about 5 mins of driving it goes away.... Why is this and is there a way to get rid of this.... Same thing happens in the afternoon after work too.... I have been dealing with this for a year now...and can't get rid of it.... I have year old tires new rims and new rotors and pads all the way around, wheel bearings a good, rack is tight...everything seems to be fine in the front end....But am I missing somethig....Or is this normal....surely not.....
If anyone can help me with this problem.....

my bet is that is is a tire.
my Pathfinder does the same thing.
could be short term flat spots.
could also be (my last set of tires) that you have "thrown a tread".
put your car on a lift and spin the tiers. If you see a tread that wobbles, thats your problem, if not, I bet its flatspots.
