Two Questions---
I have two questions for you guys!
First of all my 85 has a light "labor knock" when you floor it. I was told this could be either in the timing or possibly needs a tune up. Any ideas?
Next, SOMETIMES not all the time, my car will die when idling low. Mainly when it's in gear (automatic tranny) and not driving.
No mods except flowmasters and 160 degree thermo.

Give it a tune up, new plugs/wires/dist cap/rotor. Set the timing to 6-8*.
Also, clean the IAC valve in the Throttle body, that is likely the cause of your idle problems.

I would say you need a tune up. Plugs, wires, distrubutar cap and rotor.
That will more than likely fix both your problems.

I had a similar problem with my 87 and it ended up being the cap/rotor.
