Valve Cover Removal
I'm trying to refurbish or replace trashed out valve covers on my '92 LT 1, but I'm having a tough time getting the passenger side cover off. The rear bracket for the air injection pipe (connecting the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold) has an unreachable bolt toward the back of the motor, and the valve cover doesn't seem to want to come off without moving that pipe. I'm hoping there is a trick to it. Any suggestions?

Yes sir there is a great tool for this job. It's the combination wrench where the box end is a ratchet. This is the hardest bolt to remove and replace, but you don't have to take it all the way out, the AIR pipe clip is a "U" shape so just loosen the bolt; don't take it all the way out. One of the best tool sets I ever bought :yesnod: :thumbs:
