cruise control isn't working

cruise control isn't working
it hasn't worked since i got the car. i checked the fuse (hoping that was it) but unfortunatly it wasn't. what should i check for? i am getting ready to start a lot of highway driving (mainly interstate) and cruise control would be nice :yesnod: thanks

Check the vacum line at the ball by the drivers side headlight. If it's torn that would cause your cruise not to work...

You didn't say weather is a auto or manual, but on my 92 auto the switch on the break arm was bad. It's a combo vacuum/electrcial the vac side was good but I never thought to check the electrcial side. Darn 7$ switch cost me 80$ to have put in!! Good Luck... :seeya :flag

Which fuse did you check?
I disabled my cruise control by pulling the fuse related to LTPS (low tire pressure sensor) and this also impacted the day light running lights.
Maybe check the rest of the fuses that could be associated.
