Default Lowered front end

Hey Guys and Gals
I posted a thread the other with the same title. I have an 85 Coupe that has been slammed, for lack of a better word, in the front end. I had several responses and I appreciate them all. So here's the scoop..... I put new rotors and break pads all the way around this morning and while I had the front wheels and rotors off I did a little investigating. Not only are the spacers removed on top of the spring, but the rubber pads on the end s of the spring are gone too. This spring is sitting directly on the lower control arms and the body is directly on the spring. There is nothing protecting this spring from metal anywhere! :banghead: As I said on the other post I 've only had this car a little over a month and I love working on them. But...It never ceases to amaze me what some people will do to a car just for looks. Ok, now that I have blown some steam and feel better I need a spring. Nothing too harsh but not too soft either. Can anyone point me in a a direction?
Thanks a million, Troy.

As long the spring is in decent shape (not cracked, splintered or delaminated) you should be in good shape. I'm sure you can get the end caps from Superior Chevy (don't quote me on the name) and the lowering wedges from MAD or Eckler's. Won't be as low as before, but you won't be destroying your spring either.
