Rear brake upgrade (Brembo)
Finally got around to finishing my rear brakes. I will take the time over the winter to powder coat the new brembos as well as the old calipers (thanks purplec4) and clean a few other things up. I just want to drive before winter comes.
Brakes are a Brembo/Porsche 4 piston caliper for a 96-98 911 TT. Rotor is a 13"
First pic, brembo mounted, showing size comparison to the stock caliper. The stock piece is being retained for parking brake use only.... which is all it's good for.
Close up picture.
Difference in lengths for the rear lines.
Wheel mounted.

Looks nice! I have the same question as superlund: With all that braking power in the aft, I hope your rear wheels don't lockup too soon! You might need a proportioning valve or bias spring.
Here's what the 14"/13.6" Brembo kit looks like installed on my M5:

Show off.. :jester
Nice!
where did you get these?
Do you have any pics of the replacement spindle piece that holds the brembo and stock calipers?

How does the brake bias feel during hard, high speed stops? Stock bias spring?
Damn! So what does something like that cost? :)

Re: Rear brake upgrade (ROME)
I need a set of those to match my fronts. If I'm running 13" on the front, what's the largest I should run on the rear? 12"s?
