You go boy! We have some pretty hot 'Stangs locally, but have not had the gumption to up against any. Whittier cops have a really bad habit of putting chains on street racers. Probably a good thing. Seems like bad stuff happens all at the same time. Jacked up the car today after doing the tests on the fan, just to clean up some stuff. Noticed the wire cover for the starter was melted. Checked the left side and the paint on the oil filter is blistered. My guess is really plugged up pre-cats. Was gonna pull em soon, just stepped up the time table.

Where is the relay with green/white wire? 89 with single fan.

Rollie - wish I could help. Will look tomorrow in the manual, but I don't remember seeing anything.

If you want to put a manual switch on your fan you can do that by grounding the green/white wire at the relay. Relay on a 89 is on the inner fender panel near the brake booster.
