BLM 116, is it a problem?
I finally got my cheep ebay IBM ThinkPad working with WinALDL. :hurray: Who knew that you needed a special ThinkPad Configuration tool to turn on the serial port. Any way at idle my BLM is 116. It’s an 85 so only one O2 sensor. Looks like I am a little rich. I have Ford 21 lb. injectors and 40psi fuel pressure. Is this anything to worry about. How low can I go with the fuel pressure.

The combination of higher pressure and injectors would likely make the computor sense a rich condition. I would look at how many changes (counts) that the OX sensor goes from rich to lean. If it is changing back and fourth, it will probably be OK.

Back off fuel pressure to around 30psi and see where the BLM value goes after a few minutes.
I think your stock FP was only around 38psi with 22lb/hr stock injectors.
To tune the fuel flow at WOT, adjust fuel pressure till you see an O2 value of around 920mv at WOT.

I drove it around with the BLM chart turned on. I saw lots of points where BLM is between 124 - 128'. The rich/lean counter changes often to. I think I am OK with the fuel pressure.
One thing I saw in the flag data was ".DRP occured". What is a DRP?
This WinALDL scanner is very cool. Thank You Jonas.

If your BLMs are okay on the road don't worry. My 89 does the same thing. The GM man told me they did that to help cool down a hot motor.
