Default An Unusual Request

You guys are gonna love this one. Can anybody supply a "stock" chip for a 1989, 6 speed, Z52, FX3 coupe? I'm the third owner. It came with a Hypertech 128-992 chip. The problem is Hypertech defeats the opperation of the IAC motor. If I turn down the idle speed to pass emmissions the car will not cold start idle. If I turn up the idle speed to make the car drivable. It won't pass emmissions. I've been laid off for a year, so I'm looking for a cost effective (cheap) solution. Here are the numbers on the ECM and chip.

ECM
SVC:16198259
310014112167253

Chip
SN#201_495
PT#128_992

Thanks,
Glassman89

DoctorJ thanks for the reply. If only life were so simple. I tore the ECM out of the car this afternoon. No piggyback board. I popped the cover off the ECM and found a Hypertek memcal unit (I beleive is the correct term). The good news is Hypertek uses sockets on the pc board. So all I really need is the PROM.

I've looked at hypertechs programs......it won't "disable" the iac......they simply increase the timing a tad, increase the tc lockup on autos, and richen it a bit at wot......
I would check the iac....clean the passages out in the tb to the iac.....and if it's that iffy on passing smog-you'd be amazed at how a brand new cat decreases those #'s.....Summit racing has them for vettes-about $120.00.

I have an 89 Memcal here but I will need to put a stock BIn file on it.

Which I also have. I would like $40 plus shipping for the MEMCAL (what it cost me to buy)

It will have a stock 89 6spd caibration on it.

The hypertech memcals for the 84-89 units are not piggyback units.

Default Hypertech for 1993 Corvette

My New to me 1993 Corvette Manual Trans Has a Hypertech Label on the ECM. What does this do? What do I gain from it? I do not know the Original owner who installed it.
Any Help or Comments would be appreciated.
Thanks, Barrier
