Speedracer1996 - 4.11s & loud - I resemble that! I always justify my alignment settings even on the street because the tires don't last much past 10-15K anyway :D

The Corvette Gadget Man's jack insert for lifting by the differential is a "must have" and should be in everyone's garage & race trailer. Even easier if you "lost" the spare & carrier.

For the front, if you drive up on a piece of 2x12 it will give you enough elevation to slide your 3-ton floor jack under so you can lift the whole front by the cross member.

In a hurry at the track? Lift one whole side at a time by jacking from directly under the mirror & change the tires fast. I keep a Milwaukee 18V impact wrench in my race tool box.
Hello Navy Vet, do you have a web site for the Corvette Gadget Man? or do I just Google that? Thanks, Mark

The corvette mechanic has a video for the correct jacking points . I have used his method with good results but it is time consuming A quick jack is the way to go if you have room for the equipment . It would be nice if a group in a area like southern ct could rotate its use.The purchase could be shared among each other.

This thread is 15 years old. Not sure Navy Vet is still around.

It takes less than 4 minutes using the factory (front) jacking point.

How long would it take to drive to go pick up the quick lift, then set it up in your garage?
