Default Interior Restoration ?s....

Since it's paid off now, I am ordering parts for beginning my complete interior restoration to accompany my new paint job I'll be getting during this harsh Nebraska winter (hehe), but I need some more sources. First part I am looking for is replacement door panels, I will also be replacing carpent and recovering the seats, but door panels are first.

This is what I have come across so far:

Ecklers - Standard Door Panels $269.99 Each

Mid America - Standard Door Panels $269.99 Each

TLD - Standard Door PAnels $450.00 Pair

I will be transferring armrests/upper trim so I only need standard panels, but I need to know if there are more sources for interior parts, carpet, seat covers, panels, etc

Please reply with other options you may know of or suggestions

Thanks in advance

Check because I could be wrong, but I don't think the standard panels come with the lower carpeted peices on them either. I also don't think the carpet sets come with those small pieces.

Scorp,
From Ecklers description, and the consensus of the ones I listed:

-------------------
All Original Colors
Includes pre-installed carpet strips, round lower air vent bezel and inner window seal
-------------------

The difference I have seen between deluxe and standard are the standard do not include the upper trim piece, the vent piece, and the armrests

The TLD standard ones do not offer a description, the deluxe one that TLD sell have the phrase "includes upper trim and armrest"

If they do not have the carpet on them already, TLD sells the carpet strips for the doors for $38 a pair. which would make them $488 a pair total, still about $25 less than the others

More over I am looking at other places for restoration parts at this time :)

The more options the merrier hehe

I can tell you when I did my whole new interior I wanted my new seat covers I had custom made to the colors I wanted and then sold my leather ones I took off to recover some of my cost of the new ones....As far as the door panels I wanted them to match so I had the guy send me enough leather to recover the center section of my door the same way from the factory and all I did was remove and strip the panel to a blank peice plastic and then started over and you would have thought I ordered them like that....and with the carpet sets the door peices came with mine.....Do a search on E-Bay for corvete carpet sets.....I saved a bunch of money ....cost me $350.00 for the whole set, front and back and the door peices....I wish I could remember the guy I got it from....Great service....Here is the link to where I got mine from.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2438858748

Hope this helps you....
