Does anyone have any info on how to replace or rebuild the headlamp motors on a 92 Vette? I haven't even got the parts in yet but I want to get this project started. I read the Haynes manual but it didn't talk about the motor removal. I'm pretty sure I can do this but would like to have as much info before I start. Any help is truely appreciated. Thanks Vettedude76  :flag
I would invest in a Helms manual. It's the factory GM Service book. http://www.helminc.com - about $120.00 - the best money you will spend.
The headlites are pretty basic, from what I can figure. Then again, knocking on wood, my 120k mile 92 has it's original headlite motors and guts! Still turn'n!!!!
Are you sure it's the motors? Most headlamps only need the headlamp repair kit that replaces the bushings, this is the most common fix. I'm waiting for my kit right now.
