Re: Crossfire... (Curveit)
. After all they are Chevy motors, they can be made to run.
:chevy
:iagree: There is a lot of potential there that people don't realize exists. Check this link for lots of great crossfire ideas. :yesnod: http://www.swko.net/~lionsden/crossfire.htm
Is there a way to contact the folks that do these Crossfire TB upgrades? Anyone know anything about this? Those bored out TB's and an X ram intake look like a winner!

There is an email link at the bottom of the link I posted for the man who does the throttle body boring. He does most excellent work.
Not to hijack the thread but Chance, I saw on your site that your father had a 400ci planned for his 84. How's that coming along and what's he planning for the intake side of things? Thanks!

The 406 is complete and has been fired up on the engine stand a few times already. For the break in, dad used just a the SY1 and a carb. Once in a car, the plan is to use the SY1 with a custom top plate and the larger crossfire throttle bodies.
The problem now is that dad doesn't know where the motor will end up. The current motor in the '84 runs excellent, so he's hesitant swap in the 406 especially with the chance of trashing the transmission with the added power.
One thought we've been toying with is pulling my Grandpa's '63 convertible out of storage and retro fitting it with the 406 fuel injection setup.
I really don't know what's going to happen. :D
