It is a 1990 Vett with the stock stereo.
I took it for a drive yesterday and when I turned on the radio all the speakers just started to buzz. I then put in a CD and the buzz stayed the same. It has been really wet and cold for the past three weeks so the stereo has not been turned on because I have not been driving it. Some one said it is the amp but I don't know. I was wondering if any one else has had the same problem and if so how do I fix it?

If it is ALL of the speakers it is one of three things your amp relay, the reciever or the head unit. Since all of the speakers are doing the same thing I would lean toward something that comunicates to all of the speakers. What does it do when you fade front to rear? Also try disconnecting one speaker/ amp assembly at a time and see if the system starts playing. I would start with the relay, like $15 from your chevy dealer, it is either just right of the steering column(pretty sure it's there on a 90) or under the dash below your glove box. Just turn the radio on and off and listen for a click if you hear the click then the relay is more than likely working. If that's o.k. then I would think it is the reciever, and that is a bitch to get to and they run like $200 or more. good luck
