Supercharger Install
I just purchased a rebuilt powerdyne supercharger to be installed on an 87 vette. I am making my own mount bracket and using silicon hose from the blower to the maf and from the maf to the throttle body.
I plan on running only 5lbs of boost and have some questions.
What size (ratio) FMU do I need?
Do I need an aux fuel pump?
What else is needed?

What size (ratio) FMU do I need? i would run a ATI fmu if you are going that route
Do I need an aux fuel pump?maybe 5 psi is nothing but never hurts
What else is needed? intercooler if wanting and injectors and gauges...might have to tune the ecm some

Re: Supercharger Install (faj)
I forgot about the surge valve. Probably good insurance since the powerdyne belts are on the weak side.
A blow off valve blows off to the atmosphere. If it is before the MAF then you can blow off. If the Maf already read that air you need to recycle the air back in after the maf. If you blow it off the mix will be rich and backfire.
I also should install an MSD boost Spark retard .
