I needed the shorter EGR tube for my 1990, and you will need a foil covered heat sheild that Corvette central sells, to protect plug wires from melting in that back corner. That metal ring is needed to connect to the CAT. It is a bit of a bear to install too, without the right tool. Glad my muffler shop had one. I also bought new bolts, as the old ones were rusty. Thats when I found out that the coating had closed up the header bolt holes, and had to be drilled out. Then I found that the bolt would not go straight in, on the back drivers side, and was afraid of cross stripping the Alum heads. A call to TPIS told me to use a spark plug socket and bang the header with a hammer to the socket in the dimple area to get more room for head of the bolt. It did not crack the header coating, but allowed the bolt to go straight in. Next the coating would not allow a slip fit with the Y pipe. :cry . so sanding began, till it would slip in. Test fit everything before fitting to the car. i DONT REMEMBER the headers coming with gaskets. I used Felpros. The good news is that I havent had to replace the gaskets in 3 years. This is a first for me and headers. It used to be an every 6 month job with other brands years ago. Good luck.
