Default Is It Time For Adjustable Strut Rods?

After replacing my u-joints on the driver's side, I noticed I'm having a really hard time keeping my camber set. The camber will stay until I get aggressive. Then, the camber goes positive.

Is there another way to fix this? Or should I throw in a set of adjustable strut rods?

sometimes just going tighter will do the trick. for my '96 (which i auto-x on sticky tires), i bought dr gas's trick bolt plate kit. it holds the alignment by eliminating the eccentric.

i haven't installed it yet, but plan to soon. my alignment does change after every race.

If you have a GM factory service manual, you'll notice that the torque spec on the cam bolts is some absurd number like 200+ ft-lbs. I got tired of dealing with the cam bolts myself, however, and replaced them about a year ago. Whenever I adjust the rear camber (for auto-x, track, or street), I know it's going to stay. Another advantage is that the camber rod's bushings bind something awful due to the rediculous torque on those camber bolts, and freedom of movement in the suspension is hindered. Not the case with the heim-jointed camber rods. I think it's money well spent, myself.
