Default What compression ratio do you recommend?

I'm shooting for the highest CR with 93 octane and 200hp progressive NOS kit (383ci + AFRs). I just need the heads to top off the combo, but haven't decided which chamber size to go with.

What CR would be best?

If you are using a SRP piston, with I believe 12 cc dish, or 20 cc dish, shoot for 11to1. The chamber size is I believe 54cc. Go to SRP website, they have a chart with chambers and pistons sizes to give you a Compression ratio. SRP pistons are very good, and widely used pistons in stroker motors.

I have the SRP flattops w/ 4 valve reliefs. I'm trying to figure out what's the highest CR I can run and not have to use racing gas when using the progressive 200 shot of N20.

If it's a pump gas motor you can run as much as you can get away with on it. Nitrous likes compression, my ex-race engine in my Deuce was 555" and 15:1 compression with a two-stage 500 shot! Now, on a street engine that runs on pump gas I would keep that figure around 11.00:1 or just slightly higher. You can run 100-125 shot like that but if you kick it up to a 150 shot or more I would highly recommend some VP Performance Unleaded (at 150) or some C12 or C16 leaded gas if you run more.
