Who sells 383 strokers?
What would be the best way to purchase a built motor (383)? How much would I expect to pay? Thanks :cheers:

Are you looking for a complete motor or just the shortblock? Also are you looking for forged internals? There are a lot of variables and cost can be from a few thousand up to 10,000 or even more depending on what you want.

There should be an engine builder in your area.
But there are dozens of places that'll sell short blocks (no cam, heads...just a bottom end). Theres a couple in the latest Summit Catalog.
Cost ranges from 2-3K to over 10K, it just depends on what you want done.

A list of what you are looking for goal wise and maybe a budget range would help to give you a better idea. (Street use, track use, etc.)

GM Performance sells a 383 complete except for intake for $4795.00...I believe it is rated at 425/425 at the crank...

If you don't have any plan to spin the motor above 6200rpm. Then a budget 383ci is not as bad. You can go with scat 9000 3.75 crank and eagle I beam rod and a set of SRP piston.

As a point of interest, you should know that if you put your 91's intake on any high-hp rated motor, that motor will not make anywhere near its rating.
The 91's intake chokes the motor.

or holly stealthram with grumpyvette (forum member) new plenum (to fit under the hood)
or http://www.rancefi.com has a fi tunnel ram for $255 that he told me via email he could mill to any height (never asked about additional charge)
