Default '91 starter replacement

I have an automatic L98 C4 and need to replace the original starter. How long would it take a professional mechanic and how much is a fare charge for the labor involved? TIA

I dont think much changed from 90 to 91 but on my 90 it took me about 45-55 mins. and that included jacking up on both sides and jackstand placement.
Contrary to popular belief..it can be done without dropping exhaust and or unhooking trans cooler lines..it just takes some finageling. As far as fair rate about 50 to 100 bucks per hour depending on where you go.

If you have access to a good jack and some jackstands, you can do this yourself and save some money. Just a couple of bolts to remove and a couple of nut's that fasten the electrical cable.
